The Reception Class has been looking at the ‘Little Red Hen’ story. They made some delicious bread rolls and invited their families to come and enjoy a fun tea party where they were able to share the things they have been learning about.
Children have really enjoyed the archery club which is held after school during this Spring Term.
We raised a tremendous £181.94 for this years Red Nose Day.
We had a very special assembly to celebrate receiving our third consecutive Green Flag award. This has been achieved by our Green Team, supported by Miss Jeffery and all the school, taking on many worthwhile challenges in both school and the community.
We have recently been informed by West Sussex that there was a bomb threat made to a school in Bognor Regis. The school was evacuated by the police and a search carried out. We are told that the incident was investigated as a malicious hoax.
The school celebrated the day in a variety of ways. Some of the children brought in an object or prop from a favourite story, while others brought in their favourite book to read extracts aloud from. Children completed a variety of art work, reviews and independent writing.
