To begin our bird watch, we welcomed a visitor from the RSPB who spoke to the whole school about different birds, their habitats and what they eat. We all agreed it was very interesting and we all learnt a lot.
Medmerrys’ Green Team then carried out a bird watch within the school grounds and near to our bird feeding area – recording the results. We found sparrows, sea gulls, a robin and some black birds. Green team really enjoyed identifying different birds and realising just how much wild life we have at Medmerry!
This week, each class will complete the RSPB inspired activity linked to the curriculum to further our learning.
