Year 2

A warm welcome awaits children in Year 2!

Our aim in Year 2 is to continue all the practical and fun learning from Year 1 but develop the children’s independence.

We will give them more opportunities to use and apply what they know in all areas of the curriculum through our topic approach to learning. They will broaden their experiences and hopefully enjoy their learning at the same time. The children will continue with phonics teaching as well as daily mathematics and English lessons where we build on what they know and plan opportunities for them to progress and develop into confident young learners.
