We are grateful for the rich tapestry of families who choose Medmerry School for their primary school experience and are proud to be continually developing and improving a curriculum, which provides the “Medmerry child” to be a leader of their own learning.

Connect, Collaborate, Challenge 

 Connect:  We encourage children to develop themselves as a learner to connect within the classroom, the school and beyond the familiar and explore the cultural capital required to grow beyond it. 

Collaborate:  To ensure that children that have the desire, are equipped with the skills to collaborate with others in order to achieve more together. 

Challenge:  As a commitment to supporting all learners to continually be driving for progress, regardless of their individual needs or starting points. 

Our staff team is dedicated, hardworking and experienced, and we are committed to providing the best opportunities for all of our children. We are very proud that many of our visitors comment on how Medmerry Primary has a calm and purposeful atmosphere where it is obvious that our children enjoy learning.

We recognise that parents play a vital role in the education of their children and so value the many ways that parents engage with the school and their child’s education.

Our aim is that by the time our Year 6 children transfer to Secondary school they will be happy, confident, enthusiastic young people who are proud of their achievements and who have developed a desire for life-long learning.
