Headteacher’s Award winners for this week, including some children who have been particularly helpful in meeting our school target of trying to keep everywhere tidy. Also some excellent maths results, and great geography knowledge.
Another set of Headteacher’s Award winners just as we break up for half term. Achievements include netball skills, independent writing, fantastic presentation, and some great dragon stories which Y3 children wrote independently at home!
Another batch of achievements for this week’s Headteacher’s awards. Lots of examples of great writing in both key stages, as well as confident swimmers, some fantastic improvements in reading and some number work in Reception class. Well done all!

Here are our headteacher’s award winners for weeks 1 and 2 of this term. Awards include recognition for kindness and courtesy to others, some examples of excellent noun phrases from Year 2, great work on multiplication tables in Year 4 and art work in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo from Year 6.

The children of our choir visited two local care homes on Thursday, to perform carols for the residents and get everyone into the Christmas spirit. They sang beautifully, and represented the school fantastically. You can view the video of their performance of Silent Night on our Facebook page.
Our Year 4 pupils have been learning about musical notation with Mrs Mason so that they can play the recorder. This week they gave a short performance to parents of their growing musical talents, including both recorder-playing and song!
